Mari
is from Tokyo, Japan.
She is classically trained since age 5 and performed as a wedding keyboardist several years
before spending 5 years in the United States as a student between 1994-99 studying music and English.
After returning to Tokyo, she worked in a Blues Brothers Tribute,
before joining a blues band starring Toshie Negishi, a famous national actress in Japan.
Additionally, Mari started her own piano school and taught for over 4 years.
In 2005, She returned to the United States and lived on the road for over 4 years.
Traveling across the country and cruising on the sea with rock / country / variety / jazz bands made her
a very versatile keyboard player.
She's now relocated to Hawaii and pursuing her own piano project.
